Wednesday afternoon, having some hours free, I decided to pull in. First thing he says...lets check the gear oil..and low and behold, THERE IS NO OIL DIP STICK GAUGE IN THE GEAR OIL!!! Well, he looked around for one, couldn't find one, plugged up the opening, and i drove home, "borrowed" the one in M's car (same model) and thursday morning drove back. He checked it and added about 1/2 a ton of gear oil...oh my gawd!!!!
The problem gleared up immediately. The cost was 50 shekels (to buy another gauge at the spare parts place). The garageman took not a shekel, even for all that gear oil he fed my car.
Someone please remind me, next time the car so much as hiccups...off to the garage tout de suite!!!!
Other than that. the no TV week ended OK. I quite enjoyed it. Thursday night we watched one educational program together but only on condition that her room was tidy. Next week I shall let her have one program per day, provided homework done first.
