China is taking over....soon!!!

Hard to believe that the week of Pesach has flown by, and tonight will be time to repack the Pesach dishes and unpack all the Chametz. I love the pesach holiday. I thoroughly enjoy my breakfasts of matzo, yellow cheese, "dukah" and lettuce. I haven't even made matzo lasagna, matzo blintzes or matzo pizza yet. I guess they will wait for next year. I did make Matzo Candy....consisting of a caramal sauce poured over a layer of matzo, baked, and then coated with melted chocolate and nuts and broken into bite-sized pieces. Kind of a "pesach turtle."

I also love the laziness of the week. After all that cleaning before. Now it's back to the teaching and the daily stuff. Blah.

Bardot is at the center now, as she is in heat. She came into heat the day after she ran off. Hope she didn't get pregnant then.

Zita is still missing. I have given up hope by now. Anyone who has her, and even had a bit of thought to finding her rightful owners, would have by now. She is either stolen or dead. Awful ending to her story. It breaks me up whenever I think of her. What a waste.

I came across a very interesting video presentation dealing with China taking over the world here. It is about 15 minutes long, but I found it mesmerizing. Worth a look-see!

Last Saturday, Oded and Moshe did a major purge of the Machsan. Some childhood memories were tossed out, including a great presentation I had done for "structure" in OCA, my muskrat fur coat...split down the back and unwearable, but I could never throw it out, university textbooks on biology, chemistry, physics and geology, tons of design magazines, sample boxes of formica, craft supplies that, to tell the truth, were probably unuseable by now anyways. Also speakers from old sound systems, old cans of paints...and what have you. We put all the stuff on the sidewalk Monday evening for pickup, and Tuesday saw a parade of people checking for treasures. One young man in the area gathered up all the design stuff I had thrown out...the formica samples, design books, etc. Hope he uses it in good health. I still feel somewhat traumatized from the ordeal.

The purpose of the purge was to make a place for a set of drums for ds. But now he has decided the place is too dusty anyways. Geez!!!!

With Bardot gone, I am quite lazy, and it is 9am and i still haven't walked my Honey...so that is what I am going to do now. Toodle-loo!
