Sleep Deprivation

I am spending too much time sleep deprived these days!

Have i mentioned that Bardot is pregnant? An u/s two weeks ago showed us four puppies, but from the size of her belly, perhaps there will be more! At any rate, she is a downright nudnik. Actually, she WAS a downright nudnik, until I realized that even though I had doubled her food ration, she seemed totally famished all the time (to the point of waking me up at 430 am!!! That's where the "sleep deprivation" comes in!)

I was afraid that if i just let her go at the food ad libitum she'd end up downing an entire bag of dogfood at one go (and then throwing it up!) but after talking to Orna on Tuesday, who gave the "let her eat as much as she wants," I filled up a 5 liter pot with her dog food. She nibbles at it all day, but hasn't downed it and she is much more relaxed now. She spends most of the day sleeping next to the pot, making sure that noone (like who???) touches her food.

The next problem, though, is the "loose poop," which may be a result of adding the puppy food (it's richer) to her diet. So now i have cooked her up a giant pot of rice, and hope this will help the problem. The problem of the "looseness," besides being a pain to "scoop," is the "gas attacks" which regularly come forth....I tell you, drop one on Iran and they will surrender their nuclear program! Gas masks pluh-eez!!!

Oh well...to weeks to go....

At this moment, she and Honey are outside enjoying hunks of leg bones (from a cow, not each other) which I bought today at the HUMUNGEOUS "Chatzi Chinum" that I went to this morning. Lovely store, but waaaaay too big. These stores give me anxiety attacks!! I went through there as fast as i could, just throwing stuff into my buggy. Honey was tied up outside (I came there straight from agility).

After that, we went to Ace where I heard they were clearing out due to moving, and bought myself a new swing for the garden for only 400 sh (plus 150 delivery...). Finally I can dump my old wreck!

Last week saw me amazingly busy working on my new site: www.geocities.com/odelinded . It's still pretty amaturish, and i am having problems dealing with the Hebrew text..but I hope my students will enjoy it. I started out using "page builder" to rough in the pages, and then I will slowly move them into editing in HTML, which gives alot more latitude in design etc.

Anyways, the timer has rung, and I must go check on my potatoes marsala which is cooking, and my turkey neck soup which I am making for Honey and her "problems." (But I won't get into that now...enough with Bardot's poop for one sitting!)
