This happened yesterday in the supermarket, so is still fresh in my mind.
I parked my buggy outside the cosmetics department at the supermarket, wherein one CAN'T take in the buggy, and went it to get some deoderant and face moisturizer.
When I came out I couldn't find my buggy.
At first, I figured I had parked it somewhere else, or it had gotten pushed aside, so I surveyed the aisles, looking for it. Then I figured, perhaps someone started pushing it, mistaking it for their own, and so went searching for a buggy with my stuff and more. Finally, I went back to where I thought I had left it, only to discover the items that had been in it, on a shelf. Someone had actually emptied out my buggy and took it for themselves, along with my 5 shekel deposit. Can you believe that. I am so sorry I didn't catch them in the act! What gives anyone the right to do that. Assholes!
I was really upset for a while, as supermarket shopping, as it is, fills me with dread and loathing, but all I can say is ....i hope that persons is "enjoying" my 5-shekels...and may they choke on whatever they bought in my buggy. So there. Nyah.
SWITCHING ROOMS
I was at an "interesting" seminar on teaching a while back, and although I don't know how much the actual seminar was worth, I was totally enamored by the large classroom that the hostess had.
So, that gave me an amazing idea!
Since I had taken over DD23's old bedroom as a classroom, and since it is really way too small, I decided to switch it with our bedroom.
DH actually went along with the idea, and so now we have our big bed in the small bedroom, and our old bedroom is now a great classroom. It has room for a table and 6 chairs, a large carpet for floor-work and games, many shelves, a place for a whiteboard, a tv, dvd, vcr, etc.
I moved one dresser to the little room, which is the limit of its capacity. I also trasfered all of dh's clothes, but most of my clothes, especially the hanging stuff, is left in the "old room."
I am pleased.
