First of all it's cold. Damn cold. The whole house is cold. I put the a/c on, and it gets warm, but windy warm that dries me out. And the noise annoys me. It's uneven warmth and i can warm my backside against the unit, but try to do anything else and i'm miserable. So, i've closed myself into the mamad, with the blower (more warm hot air blowing me dry) on.
The house is a mess and i need to make dinner. As many times as I tried to tidy up the kitchen today, I just can't seem to clear off the table and the counter. There is just stuff all over. And, it's friday evening. My usual "friday evening trauma." I hate fridays, i hate cooking. I invited Ofra tomorrow and promised her Jachnun and cobana. OK, the jachnun is no problem, just take it out and stick it in the oven, but the cobana involves mixing and kneading and rising and stretching dough and rolling. Lots of work.
Here is a picture of Jachnun in the morning with the hardboiled egg and hot tomato puree.
And I'm sick. That's the worst. I just want to be rid of this damn cold. I'm not even so sniffly anymore...more stuffed up and feeling like there is a ton of cotton wool lodged up in my forehead. The dry-air heating doesn't help.
So, I buried myself upstairs in bed and at 5 Bardot comes up and wakes me. God i am looking forward to life after Bardot. I am so tired of walking her every day. I am so tired of her barking. Oh...have I mentioned that it is stormy and rainy and there are winds of 80kph? There is no way in friggin' hell that I am taking her for a walk tonight, although we have it down to a science already. I have a route that takes 10 minutes with exact peepee and poop spots. Would you believe that on Wednesday I was sick enough that dH actually took Bardot for her walk!?! That was a first-timer. And i described the route....walk past the markolet, get to the corner of HaErez and HaRakefet, she pees there. Then walk up HaErez and at the corner of HaChatzav, where the roses are planted, go there and she will poop there. And he came back and told me that it was EXACTLY like that. But I am not catching pneumonia when I have a lovely grassy yard (soggy and grassy) and it is not my problem if she likes to have a 7-minute stroll on a leash before she poops.
Oh my...lightening and thunder...I'm saving and closing for now.
*******Storm passed...came out of mamad when i hear one of th epuppies yelling away. Don't know why. Seems he was trying to climb out of the box. But I picked him up and cuddled. DH was busy frying the hamburgers which I planned to make. So they are all done. After a good puppy cuddle, i went upstairs and redressed....wollen tights, fleece pants, a short-sleeved thermal undershirt (where did that come from??? is it mine???) a long sleeved close-fitting tee, and my thick fleece pink jacket. And two pairs of socks, and my plush slippers. So i feel warmer. I may even go and do 20-minutes worth of pilates in a bit to stretch out.
