Why does L'Oreal hate me?

15 January 2007 at 11:35 a.m.

If you recall, about a month ago, I had a story about some L'Oreal face cream I bought...wanted with retinoic acid, and ended up with someone else's without. Read the entry here.

Yesterday, after going to the dentist because of the excruciating pains in my upper right jaw, I went to the drugstore to buy the antibiotic he prescribed. While waiting for my turn, I happened to see a GREAT sale on this very same L'Oreal Revitalift stuff I wanted.... For every 100 shekels spent, you get 50 off. The cream was 150, and I happened to see another tempting offer for a facial 3-part rejuvenating kit. 250shekels. Total 400, but I get if for 200.

I bought them, and the antibiotics, and proceeded to the supersol.
I placed the bag from the pharmacy (a white bag with red printing) to my right, while the cashier was processing my purchases. All of a sudden, I noticed that the bag was gone. It seems the lady before me, took all the bags (the ones from the super are also white with red printing)-- including mine...cosmetics, prescriptions and all.

There is obviously something/somebody out there determined not to let me get my hands on the l'Oreal Revitalift!!

I left my phone number in case she is a good soul and will return them.
I had to get myself another prescription, because the original was also in the bag, and bought more antibiotic. So far (next day), nothing. I also called the dentist, in case the person sees their name on the prescription, and I should stop by the pharmacy too later on.

As far as my pains go...they are still excuciating. Every couple of hours I down 2 acamol tablets and the pain subsides a bit. I also am taking a decongestant to help. In short, though, I am miserable.

Anyways, now with no puppies and no Bardot, I am off to sleep.
