First of all, let me say, that I don't know if I would ever want to give anyone else access to MY email and password. So, I don't know what his motive was, and why. And, once I received it, and our "business," so to speak, is over, am I supposed to forget it? Anyways, my insatiable curiosity (OK...let's call a spade a spade..nosiness) pulls me like a magnet. There is a certain enjoyment involved in peeking into someone else's life - reality internet, if you like! The fact that gmail is constantly updating itself, also allows me to see when he is actually online, as I see the quantity of bolded (unread) emails, declining, so I know what messages he has read.
On to the dilemma. This morning I noticed that he started sending out his "Dear Sirs, I would like to interest you in...." letter to places listed as "Holistic and Alternate Life Style Books." My fist thought, was that he should reword (slightly) his "Dear Sirs..." letter to include some phrases emphasizing that this book would indeed be worthy of such a publishing house, and I immediately drafted a letter. (Actually, just inserted two phrases into the letter he has already.) But then, I couldn't decide whether to send it to him.
At present, it is sitting in my draft box.
So I started to think...really, we have culminated my "job." I am not supposed to be an assistant, advisor, or secretary. He didn't ask me, in so many words, to monitor his emails, and advise when necessary. Also, might it not be an uncomfortable feeling thinking that there is someone looking over his shoulder. So, I have decided not to send my suggestion. And, when such time comes as I will have an opportunity for a face-to-face conversation, I will have to clear this up too.
Oh...but speaking of the devil..look who, at this moment, has opened a chat with me on Skype
Gotta run!
