She is in great pain, screaming loudly whenever she moves, and even when she doesn't. She can't sit, lie, walk or anything without pain. Finally, on Sunday evening, my nerves drawn taut, I said it was stupid we didn't take her to the Emergency department (after getting the x-ray results, the clinic faxed them to her family doctor, who said she would arrange a referal to Emergency, should we want to take her). There there are people who KNOW how to deal with her, KNOW how to move her without causing damage, KNOW what medications she can get that won't cause problems alongside the others she is taking regularly.
We took her Monday morning. All told, we were there about 6 hours, they took another set of x-rays and told us the same thing. BUT they did give her three shots in her butt to help kill the pain. They KNEW how to move her on the x-ray table to make life easier (something the techinician at the clinic didn't know, or couldn't .... but never mind.)
Today i took results back to her g.p. and I am now arranging: home care (for someone to come give her a shower, etc.), bone mapping, physiotherapy, home blood tests (Thursday morning, they will come to my house to take her tests) and other sundry.
Sheis camped on my sofa. In a few minutes I will go rent a walker for her too.
The most fun, though, has been, that earlier today, M, Odel and I spent 30 minutes ridding her porch from all the crap she has collected for the "poor people" from stuff people throw out on the street. I meant to photograph the place before we started, but forgot. I can photograph the pile out on the street. (Tuesdays is throw-your-crap-on-the-street-for-collection-tomorrow day.) I actually DID go through the multitdue boxes of clothes, all packed into tiny cartons (cuz she can't lift stuff easily) and separated them into: garbage, good stuff to donate, really good stuff -- mainly men's shirts -- that I will sneak into M's closet and save me having to buy him shirts. Hope they fit....!!
I must really learn how to transfer photos with bluetooth already!!!!
The Photos
This is the sorted clothes. The stuff "on the step" is stuff I will take to donate, except for the right-hand-most box, which is stuff I will take. The stuff on the ground is to be dumped.
This is the pile of junk on the sidewalk to be picked up. I still have to take out the pile of junk clothes.

Some toys...if anyone wants them before the pickup tomorrow
