Woke up at 6, prepared some stuff that I should have prepared yesterday for this am's class (10 gifted-in-English children). Drove dd to school, taught my class, spent next 45 minutes cleaning the board that I accidentally wrote on with regular marker, and then writing up my "official lesson plan" for my classes (which I need to hand in.)
Drove to the gym, where I was supposed to meet this guy to check my weight, bmi, etc at 10. Waited till 10:15, he didn't show. Left.
Drove to the hearing aid place, where I finally (lots of procrastination here!) had him fit it properly. Walked over to a pet place to look for a bed for Honey. Didn't buy. Walked back to car.
Went to buy workbooks for this afternoon's chug. Spent too much time there waiting for service.
Rushed home. Go there at 11:55. Fed animals, washed under my arms and drove to my 12noon appointment where cosmetician is removing my underarm hair for good. This was treatment #3. Seven to go.
Back home. Rushed my BREAKFAST!!!. Took ddogs to vet to get shots and to get their anal glands emptied...(yuck). Also to buy worm stuff for the cat and flea stuff for all three animals. Parted there with 525 shekels. Treatment required "scheduling" baths for both dogs.
Drove to Nes Ziona to return something to somebody. Drove home. Put water on gas and gave Pepper bath.
Finished cooking macaroni, while also doing the dishes and tidying. Made sandwichies for dd. Drove to pick up dd from school, give her sandwiches and drive her to train station.
Drove home.
Gave Honey her bath. While bathing her, drainage to garden (our bathtub drains into the garden...grey water!) backs up and bathroom starts to flood. OY!
Finish washing and toweling Honey..Much harder than Pepper as she has more and very different hair. Took both dogs out to sunny mirpeset, and at the same time grabbed in laundry and also washed it, so dogs wouldn't get dirty.
Ran downstairs to open the pipe to let water drain from bathroom.
Came to check emails, because it has been ALL day and i need my email fix. Now i will deal with bathroom, take my shower, eat something, and need to be bright, cheerful and prepared for 5PM class.
So that is what I did (so far) today!
After my students left at 6pm, i stole a few games of spider (really need to see a shrink about that!) and then went for a wee nap. Around 800 I woke up, and cajoled ds to come with me to the place where we do agility, as I promised I would come help load equipment for ferrying to Arad for the Saturday show. I feared there would not be many to help, and my fear was realized. It was good that ds was there to help with the heavy stuff. The driver of the truck, though, didn't shut up the whole time, and by the time we were done I was ready to shoot him, or myself! I couldn't wait to get out of there.
Before we had left the house, I called dd, who was in Tel Aviv, to make sure she would be catching the 9:22 train back to rishon. I then planned to pick her up on the way home, at 9:40. However, around 9:15 she called to say that she was still at the busstop waiting for the bus that was to take her to the train station. Not good. This was to be the last train of the day. So, I advised her to get herself to the busstop that has a bus to Rishon. To make a long story short, after telling her to take a taxi, I changed my mind, again, and we ended up driving into Tel Aviv to get her. Thankfully, ds was at the wheel, since I don't have the nerves for driving there.
Well, we met her around 10pm, and got back home around 10;30. By now I was exhausted, and still hadn't had any dinner. So I downed some pasta that ds had prepared earlier, and then got myslef into my wonderful bed.
This is really the end, except to say that Friday morning I ended up going back to bed till 11am!!
